My heart and soul forever belong to two men.
It’s an irrefutable truth that won’t ever change.
Reeve is the air I breathe.
Dillon is the fire that consumes me.
How am I expected to live without a part of my heart?
This is book two of two and it cannot be read as a stand-alone. 130k-word full-length novel. No cliff-hanger and it ends with an HEA.
Series: All of Me #2
My Rating: ★★★★
What a wild ride this book was. An epic conclusion to a fantastic story full of jaw-dropping drama, heartache, redemption, forgiveness and love.
One of the great things about love triangle romances, is the back and forth; rooting for one guy and then halfway you think, “fuck him” and then rooting for the other, and then switch back again. With the jaw dropping cliffhanger from book one, I went into this book rooting for Reeve. Dillion was an asshole. Plain and simple. So, I was #teamreeve through and through. So you can imagine, how the night of that charity dinner ended just had me
After that the drama. Lawd the drama. That scene at the hospital between Dillion and Viv was everything. I have read almost every book (well, almost. I’m catching up. Sue me) this author has written and if there’s one thing, she does well is capture emotions and passion in the characters. The sex, the fights are so intense that you almost feel like you’re intruding in a private moment.
I loved the pace of the story. I love that the author doesn’t leave you hanging with one bomb shell for 200 of a 230 page book and then drop it on you, before you know it its finished. No. she drops bomb after bomb after bomb through the whole book, so you’re sitting at the edge of your seat throughout.
I have to admit it took a while for me to warm up to Dillion because as I said I was #teamreeve. But then he had to go fuck it up with that bombshell towards the end. And I had to question Reeve’s whole character at that point. While I loved him, he’s a psycho, maybe a little bit? Or did what he did to make sure he had Viv romantic? I don’t know. But I do wish he had been there to be held accountable for that clusterfuck. I would have loved to see how Viv navigated that now that Dillion was in the picture. Who would she have chosen etc. At the same time Dillion’s reaction to Reeve’s secret had me thinking
After the shit he pulled, he’s suddenly in a position to pass moral judgement on anybody? Nah. Anyway, I really enjoyed this book. It was delicious.
