Blurb

For twelve long years, I’ve breathed, I’ve bled for only one thing…

Revenge.

Four men took something from me, something which can never be replaced. That one night changed the lives of so many and taught me that monsters are real.

But I also learned I’m the biggest monster of them all.

Nothing and no one will stand in my way of redemption because those men…they’re now three. The fourth—he is the reason they call me Bullseye. They can run, but sooner or later, I’ll find them, just as I did with their friend. They’re already dead…they just don’t know it yet.

My plan was simple until I met her. A fierce tiger who had the power to break my heart. Lucky for me…she can’t break what’s already broken. I am no longer a man because the world is a jungle, and we’re all just animals—ready to tear one another apart.

ARC KINDLY PROVIDED FOR AN HONEST REVIEW

I’ts been a while since I’ve read a book that had me turning pages furiously but I tell you, this was worth it. This is my first dabble with this author and I’m not sure which caught me by surprise; the fact that I LOVED it yet it wasn’t so smutty or the intense chemistry between the characters and their depth. Either way, I fucks with it.

Chile, when I tell you I loved this book…

Anyway, so we meet our guy, Cody “Bulleyes” Knight. Fresh out of jail with only one thing in mind-revenge. He has relived the day that forever changed his life 14 years ago on a loop in his mind. And all he wants to set things straight and let some people know he’s not that little boy anymore. The plan is simple: find them, kill them and don’t get caught – or get caught but if you do kill yourself. Either way, his ass aint going back to jail. This seems pretty straightforward right? No. what he failed to do is to factor in that bitch “conscious” and her sister “feelings”. And catch some he does-for a little spitfire, who’s been to hell and back herself, Tigerlily. And suddenly his plans seem all fucked up. He’s feelings things he’s not familiar with and its really fucking with him and his plans. What will he do? Well you guessed right? He proceeds as planned, until he finds out just how royally fucked he is by allowing himself to get tangled up with Lilly.

Then there’s Lilly: sweet beautiful Lilly trying to survive the harsh cards life has dealt her. Home girl has abandonment issues. Parents gone? Actually, where are the parents? Did I miss the whole bit about where they are? Anyway, brother gone, the man he loved, her baby daddy gone along with her dreams to be a professional dancer. Now she spends her time raising her ungrateful son shaking her ass and teaching spoilt brats ballet.

Okay lets pause here for a minute. Were y’all appalled as I was at the audacity of that brat son of Lilly’s, Jordan for the way he spoke to his mother? Calling her a hooker, talking back and walking away from her mother like he owned the place?

Child if that had been my son talking to me like he’s lost his mind.

Anyway, I digress. So we move alone in the story and finally we find out who the hell Lilly’s brother is and this was me;

So now Bull,

All throughout this story Bull has been hard and had reiterated his plan so many times even I know it by heart. So you’d expect that he’d say fuck it, proceed as planned. Right?

He must be a hero

As for Jaw,

Anyway, I loved the book, the only thing that has left some questions was when Jaw said he couldn’t believe his luck when he found out who Bull was. But bull ad earlier said his records were sealed for killing Hero. How did Jaw then know who Bull was? Also, Lilly’s moral compass could do with some recalibration. Just saying.

Cliffhanger, freaking cliffhangers. Seriously what is it with cliffhangers that authors just feel like that have to have them?
